2014 Minute Maid Grand Slam for Youth Baseball
Scholarship Winners

Minute Maid, your hometown juice brand, in partnership with the Houston Astros, announced the winners of the Minute Maid Grand Slam for Youth Baseball (MMGSFYB) scholarship for high school seniors at an Astros game last summer. Twenty-five students were awarded $2,500 to assist with their college expenses during a pre-game ceremony at Minute Maid Park. The winners will pursue degrees at a variety of institutions running the gamut from Stanford University to Rice, Abilene Christian University and beyond. Fifty-two percent of the recipients are first-generation college students.

"We salute these outstanding graduates," says Mike Saint John, Minute Maid President. "They are all to be commended for their accomplishments in academics, athletics and community service."
